My favorite Attack On Titan characters

My favorite Attack on Titan Characters 

Attack On Titan (aot) is one of the best Manga and Anime series to come out this decade. It has become the most popular Anime in winter 2021. I'm here to list my favorite characters in the series, because they are all cool and complex. (not in order)

1. Armin Arlert 

The genius and war criminal himself Armin Artlert. Armin is the smartest character in in aot. He looks and acts innocent, but really, he is a manipulative genius. He was the one to lead the characters when it came to tough situations. He is also not afraid to kill and deceive. 

Armin comes up with unconventional ways to solve problems, and when it comes to life or death situations, he can make quick and decisive moves. He killed thousands of people for his country and managed to trick the enemy on several occasions. His looks and attitude are what makes him  so successful in manipulating someone's thoughts, after all, how can some one so innocent lie about such horrible things? 

At the start of the series he was shy and timid, but in the end he became one of the most interesting characters in aot.

Also he has a cool haircut in season 4. 

2. Erwin Smith 

THE MAN HIMSELF, ERWIN SMITH.

He is the leader that everyone looks up to. He is the genius that can change the world. He is the hero that can save humanity. 

Erwin Smith has very questionable morals. He sends hundreds of soldiers to their deaths just for the sake of his dream. His dream is to know the secrets of humanity and why they are behind the walls. 

He presents himself as a noble leader that will lead humanity to victory, but he is actually selfish and only wants to reach his own goals. Willing to sacrifice the lives of his men and his self for the sake of knowledge.

Even with questionable goals in becoming a commander, he was still an incredible leader. With his leadership, he became the reason for their victory against the titans. Erwin Smith is truly a legend.

3. Historia Riess 

Long live the queen, and long live Historia Reiss.

The once cute and sweet girl, became the queen of the walls. At the start of the series Historia had a different name, Crista. She was excommunicated from the royal family because she was the child of a prostitute. Her father killed her mother, but spared her if she took on a new name. 

After overthrowing the government Historia became the queen. But in becoming the queen she became depressed and very unhappy with her life. She often thinks back to when she was a soldier and how she had friends. Now she is the ruler of a nation and is lonely by herself. Even with the world on her shoulders, she still remains positive and optimistic about the future.

She is the most overlooked character in aot, and I think she deserves more recognition because of her incredible character development.

Those are my favorite characters from Attack on Titan. They truly are incredible characters with deep meanings behind their story arcs. I recommend reading or watching aot if you want an interesting story and equally as interesting characters.
